Santhosh Kumar S is an IT professional and UI/UX designer with over two decades of experience in the technology industry and more than a decade of hands-on experience in hydroponic farming. His journey into agriculture began with rooftop farming, driven by an interest in growing safe, fresh food at home. He gradually explored hydroponics, combining his technology background with practical farming to develop innovative and space-efficient growing solutions. He received the Kerala State Award for Innovation in Agriculture 2023 for his contributions to agricultural innovation. His current work focuses on promoting urban farming, developing compact hydroponic kits for rooftops and balconies, and exploring open-source technologies and automation for smarter farming. He believes that technology can make sustainable food production accessible to more people and help bridge the gap between agriculture and technology.
