Manu Remakanth

Dr Manu Remakanth is Professor and Head of the Postgraduate Department of English at SN College, Chempazhanthy. He is also a freelance writer whose articles appear regularly in national and international magazines.

For the past ten years, his widely followed vlog, A Cup of Kavitha, has introduced world poetry to Malayalee audiences.

He wrote Sanctuary for the Soul for the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. The four-volume series covers some of the state's most treasured forests: Eravikulam National Park, Periyar Tiger Reserve, Parambikulam Tiger Reserve and Silent Valley National Park. His first Malayalam book, Branded Batura, was published by Mathrubhumi Books and became a bestseller.

He is a member of the Board of Studies in English and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kerala.
