Dr V K Adarsh

Dr V. K. Adarsh is an engineer-turned-banker and a writer. He is the author of ten Malayalam books, mostly on science and technology, and is active on social media.

He began his career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Younus College of Engineering, Kollam, before moving to the banking sector. He is currently working as an Assistant General Manager - Risk Management with Union Bank of India at its Central Office in Mumbai. He is an engineering graduate from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, and holds an M.Tech from the University of Kerala and a PhD in Finance Management from Aligarh Muslim University.

Dr Adarsh is a recipient of the Kerala State Energy Conservation Award (2007) and the Science Journalism Award (2009), both instituted by the Government of Kerala.
