Dr Priyanjali Prabhakaran

Dr Priyanjali Prabhakaran is a Professor at Department of Architecture and Planning, College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET). She is an Empanelled Access Auditor with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. She is the Principal Investigator of Barrier Free Consultancy Cell (BFCC) – Sponsored research project of Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala -since April 2022. She was the coordinator of sponsored research projects -Guidelines for Accessible Panchayat (2024-26), Planning for Nilakkal as a Base Camp of Sabarimala (2017-19) and Integrated Cluster Action Plan for Vellanad-Aryanad under SPNRUM (2016). She coordinated the preparation of Guidelines for Local Self Governance Institutions titled : തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള ഭിന്നശേഷി സൗഹൃദ ഭരണനിർവഹണ മാർഗ്ഗരേഖ as part of the project “Guidelines for Accessible Panchayath”

She is currently the Chairperson of Board of Studies in Architecture and Planning of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
