Dr N M Mujeeb Rahman

Dr N M Mujeeb Rahman is the Medical Director of the Institute of Palliative Medicine (IPM), Kozhikode, a WHO Collaborating Centre for Building Country Capacity in Palliative Care and Long-Term Care. A surgeon by training, he has been actively involved in palliative care for over three decades, with a special interest in community-based models of care. He is a founder of the Global Palliative Doctors Network (GPDN) and Course Director of its Global Foundation Course in Palliative Medicine. He is also actively engaged in education, research, policy advocacy and international collaborations to strengthen equitable access to palliative care worldwide.
