Dr Moinak Banerjee

Dr Moinak Banerjee is a geneticist and founder of OmShastra, formerly serving as Scientist G at the BRIC-Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology. His expertise spans human genetics, genomics and biotechnology. He is the Past President of the Indian Society of Human Genetics and Vice President of the Association of DNA Fingerprinting and Allied Technologies. He currently coordinates the Asian Genetics Consortium in India and chairs AGCC2027. An advisor to South Korea’s National Science Foundation, he serves on the editorial teams of leading scientific journals, including Scientific Reports and Frontiers in Psychiatry. He also writes on genome research, science policy and public-private collaboration.
